Prepared GRC molds are put into production with 2 methods.
- Spray-up Process
- Premix Process
Spraying Process: Cement, sand, water and chemical additives are prepared in a high-speed mixer. The mortar mixture is placed to go to the sprayer of the machine. The mortar is sprayed into the mold along with the alkali resistant fiberglass from the spray gun and the clipper.
Premix Process: Cement, sand, water and chemical additives are prepared in a high-speed mixer. Alkali resistant fiberglass; The mixer is added to a slower speed. The resulting GRC mortar is applied into the mold with a spraying machine or by pouring it freely into a vibrating mold.
The mixture that is sprayed or poured into the mold is taken out of the mold and made ready for shipment after it has set after approximately 24 hours.
