The equivalent of this is an extra burden on the structure. Additionally, some materials it contains can lead to an unhealthy environment. However, precast provides aesthetic appearance, durability, and insulation simultaneously with a single material. This also saves users money in terms of budget. Precast Facade Production

Precast, one of the most popular concrete building materials of recent times, has actually been seen in the construction sector for a long time. Thanks to this technique, which has been used in various structures since the 19th century, those buildings have remained sturdy until today.

When we look at its production, it has materials with different characteristics. Molds are formed as a result of the curing of these materials under suitable conditions. Additionally, the desired design can be created in the molds as required. If we come to the step-by-step precast facade production, it can be summarized as follows:

Determining Precast Model and Design

The first step will, of course, be to determine the model and design you will prefer in the structure. Although precast panels generally have a simple design, they may sometimes have patterns and motifs to add aesthetic appeal.

An initial preview is created with graphic programs on the computer for determining the models. The molds are drawn here in 3D. Once approved, the dimensions of the structure are taken, and the approved design is precisely drawn with these dimensions, making the project ready in 3D from all aspects. Customers first see how the structure will look when completed from here.

Precast Mold Manufacturing

The mold materials to be based on in the project may vary. Molds are prepared according to the designed project. Precast materials are poured into molds that can be made of wood, rubber, or polyester according to the designed project.

Curing process under suitable conditions and curing frequency are important. The creation time of precast molds may vary depending on the dimensions of the structure and the cornice applications.

Frame Manufacturing

As important as panel manufacturing in precast is frame manufacturing. Producing it with the correct measurements directly affects the durability of the structure. Because the frame, in a way, undertakes the load-bearing and transfer function in the structure. Incorrect distribution of the load is provided with incorrect calculations. Anchor systems are also produced during this process along with the skeleton structure.

Precast Casting

The white silica sand, white cement, alkali-resistant glass fiber, and various optional materials that make up precast are cured during the casting process. This material is transferred to the molds previously created by the spray method.

Precast Delivery

After the curing process following the spray method, the precast panels are removed from the molds. They are left for a certain period to be ready. Then, they can be loaded onto transportation vehicles to be sent to the structure to be assembled.

Precast Assembly

The assembly process begins immediately with the precast panels sent to the construction site. Generally, precast cornice processes can also be added to the structure after the panels are fully assembled.

For this purpose, precast manufacturing and assembly are already carried out simultaneously. Joint seams for water insulation required in the structure are filled with materials such as silicone during assembly. Exterior painting or sill installation, for example, is done after these are completed.
